The Lewis-Clark State College women’s basketball team climbed back into the NAIA Division I women’s basketball Top 25 coaches’ poll this week.
The Warriors are ranked No. 25 in the country and drew 67 points in the poll, just two points behind No. 24 William Woods of Missouri.
LCSC fell out of the poll two weeks ago, but has since rattled of four consecutive wins by an average of 28 points per game. LCSC’s closest game during the streak has been 19 points.
LCSC stands 18-6 overall and 8-3 in Frontier Conference play with three games remaining, all at home. LCSC plays host to Carroll College on Thursday at 6 p.m., Rocky Mountain on Saturday at 2 p.m., and Westminster on Feb. 28, which has been designated as Senior Night. Westminster is ranked No. 17 in the national poll.
