The Lewis-Clark State College women’s basketball team rose two spots to be ranked No. 23 in the NAIA Division I women’s basketball Top 25 coaches’ poll this week.
The Warriors, who are now 20-6 overall and 10-3 in Frontier Conference play, drew 88 points in the poll to pass up William Woods of Missouri and Bethel of Tennessee.
Lewis-Clark State is riding a six-game winning streak and won its 20th game last week to stretch LCSC’s record to 17 straight seasons of 20 or more wins.
Westminster College, the only other Frontier Conference team in the poll, climbed from No. 17 to No. 16.
In its final game of the regular season, LCSC will face Westminster this Saturday at 6 p.m. inside the LCSC Activity Center. Saturday is also designated as Lewis-Clark State’s Senior Night.
