basketball at Hanford
High…earned First Team
Mid-Valley League honors as
a junior and a senior after
earning second team honors
as a sophomore… also served
as captain her final two
years… selected to play in
the Washington All-State
Game her junior year for the
3A/4A classifications, and
also played in the
Tri-City/Yakima area Media
Classic Game… during her
senior season, she was the
Tri-City Herald’s All-Area
MVP and also was an
honorable mention all-state
selection… she made the
all-tournament team as a
junior at the End of the
Trail Tournament in Oregon
City, Ore… finished her high
school career with more than
1,000 points and shot 43.9
percent from the field, 40.5
percent from the 3-point
line, 79.7 percent from the
foul line, and averaged 12.8
points per game… she also
played midfielder and
forward on the soccer team
and was captain her senior
year… earned second team
all-league honors in 2004,
and then first team
all-league and second-team
all-state honors in 2005.
