2008-09: Shared starting point guard duties last season.. scored in double digits in 16 games… had her best game against the University of Great Falls to kick off Frontier Conference play when she hit 5-of-5 3-point shots and 7-of-9 overall to finish with a season-high 22 points… followed that up with a 7-of-10 performance from the field and 19 points against MSU-Northern… also scored 22 points against Rocky Mountain… only had six games where she failed to make at least one 3-pointer… made a free-throw in every game where she had at least one attempt… had season highs of seven assists, four steals, and five rebounds… finished second on the team in free-throw shooting percentage and 3-point shooting… finished 21st nationally in free-throw shooting… earned all-conference academic honors.

 

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Was a two-time First Team All-Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges Eastern Region selection… earned the Eastern Region MVP honor as a sophomore... also was MVP of the NWAACC Tournament as a sophomore, and was chosen Most Inspirational at 2007 tourney… during sophomore season, she shot 47.5 percent from the field (134-of-282) and 43.6 percent at the 3-point line (51-117)… led her team in scoring at 13.2 points per game, 3-pointers, steals (66) and minutes played… she finished second on the team in assists (80) and in free-throw shooting (77.6 percent), and also averaged 1.2 points per shot attempt in helping CBCC to a school-record 28-3 overall mark, including perfect 14-0 conference record.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year letterwinner in basketball at Hanford High…earned First Team Mid-Valley League honors as a junior and a senior after earning second team honors as a sophomore… also served as captain her final two years… selected to play in the Washington All-State Game her junior year for the 3A/4A classifications, and also played in the Tri-City/Yakima area Media Classic Game… during her senior season, she was the Tri-City Herald’s All-Area MVP and also was an honorable mention all-state selection… she made the all-tournament team as a junior at the End of the Trail Tournament in Oregon City, Ore… finished her high school career with more than 1,000 points and shot 43.9 percent from the field, 40.5 percent from the 3-point line, 79.7 percent from the foul line, and averaged 12.8 points per game… she also played midfielder and forward on the soccer team and was captain her senior year… earned second team all-league honors in 2004, and then first team all-league and second-team all-state honors in 2005.

 

PERSONAL: Business Administration major… parents are Mike and Kelli DePeel… has one brother, Michael, and one sister, Chelsey… born March 17, 1988.
