Alyssa Fierro scored all of her 11 points in the second half and shared game-high scoring honors with Jasmine Stohr to help the current Lewis-Clark State College women's basketball team defeat a team of former Warriors 62-50 in an exhibition game at the LCSC Activity Center on Saturday.
The game featured a running clock except on free throws. The stats and the result from the game do not count in the season statistics for LCSC.
The Warrior Alumni team hung close for the most part as it trailed 26-21 at halftime and kept it within 10 for most of the second half.
Sixteen former alums took part in the game. Nikki Hearling, Ashley Baker and Sadie Short paced the Alumni Team with seven points apiece.
LCSC resumes action in the Wells Fargo Tournament at the LCSC Activity Center on Sunday when it takes on Pacific Union at 2 p.m.
