Warriors remain No. 11 in NAIA poll
Riding a four game win streak, the Lewis-Clark State College women’s basketball team didn’t budge in the latest NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 poll. The Warriors have now been ranked No. 11 for two consecutive weeks.
LCSC, currently 11-2, received 195 points in the poll and now trails No. 10 Campbellsville by only seven points and No. 9 Columbia College by 11. Last week LCSC was 14 behind Campbellsville and 20 behind Columbia.
Westminster College was the only other Frontier Conference team to be listed in the top 25 as it garnered 117 points and came in at No. 19. Montana tech received nine points and Carroll College one, but both were ranked outside the top 25.
Topping the poll was Union University, 11-1, which received eight of the 11 first-place votes.
LCSC’s next game will be against Whitman College inside the LCSC Activity Center on Dec. 18 at 6 p.m. The Warriors defeated Whitman 74-64 earlier this season.
