For the second week in a row, Lewis-Clark State College’s Jasmine Stohr was tabbed as the Frontier Conference’s Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, league officials announced on Tuesday.
The 6-foot senior from Yakima, Wash., averaged 20.7 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals in three games last week. She is currently ranked second in the NAIA with 22.1 points per game.
LCSC, ranked No. 5 in the NAIA with a 7-0 record, won both its games at the Greg Jose/Twin Rivers Physical Therapy Classic beating Concordia 76-55, and Pacific Union 110-45. The team also bested Whitman college 65-61 on the road.
This week the Warriors will head to California for two games on the weekend. On Friday they’ll face top-ranked Azusa Pacific University in Azusa at 5:30 p.m., and on Saturday they’ll play Concordia in Irvine at 5:30 p.m.
