Lewis Clark State College senior Jasmine Stohr was chosen as the Frontier Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, league officials announced on Monday. This is the third time Stohr has earned the honor this season.
The 6-foot guard helped LCSC, now 14-1, pick up three wins at the Las Vegas Shootout last week. The No. 4-ranked Warriors defeated No. 19 Bethel College 66-58, Madonna University 66-34, and the University of Lethbridge 76-65.
Lewis-Clark State has now earned four of the nine Player of the Week awards given out by the conference this year. Kirsi Voshell earned the award for LCSC on Dec. 12.
The Warriors begin their conference season with a trip to Dillon, Mont., to face Montana Western on Friday, followed by a game in Butte against Montana Tech on Saturday. Both games will start at 4:30 p.m., Pacific time, with live coverage online provided by KOZE at www.koze-sports.com.
