in all 34 of the
Warriors’ games as a
freshman, averaging 2.2
points per game…Scored
15 points on 7-for-8
shooting against Pacific
Union on Nov. 20 and 10
points on 5-for-6
shooting against Walla
Walla University.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Graduated from Colton
High School where she
was standout volleyball
and basketball player,
earning four letters in
each sport….Played
middle hitter on the
volleyball team where
she was captain her
final two seasons…Helped
team qualify for State
for the first time in 30
years. Team placed third
her junior season and
fifth her senior
year…She won Best
Offensive Player the
final two seasons and
made all-Whitman County
League her final year…In
basketball the team
placed second her
freshman year and then
won the title three
straight years…Those
were Colton’s only
titles in basketball…
She won State Athlete of
the Week during her
senior year and also was
on the All-State team as
a senior…Finished her
high school career with
a 97-7 record as team
went 24-0 her sophomore
year, 25-1 her junior
season and 26-2 as a
senior…Earned all-state
honorable mention honors
three straight
seasons…At the state
tournament Colton set
records for fewest
points allowed in a game
(15), most points scored
in four games at the
tournament (260),
allowed the least points
in four games (89), most
3-pointers made in a
tourney (33), and only
allowed 10 or more
points in two
quarters…Team won 42
games in a row, which is
among the 10 longest win
streaks in state
history.

Heaslet….Has two
brothers, Rusty and
Derek…Her dad graduated
from LCSC in 1982 and
here mom in 1991…Hobbies
include fishing,
hunting, boating,
wakeboarding, camping,
spending time with
friends and family,
motor sports, and
agriscience
activities…Is majoring
in Secondary Education
with an English emphasis….Belonged
to FFA and was a Grand
Champion in Fitting and
Showing, Market, and
Best of Class Awards. In
her first year of CDE,
she placed eighth at
state…She also competed
on the Ag-Issues Team
for three years, and was
a Junior Miss Spirit
Award Winner.
