Volleyball Program Signs High School

morning, December 8, 2005, head Warrior
Volleyball coach, Erin Mellinger, announced
the signing of Dana Christiansen. Currently
a high school senior, Christiansen was a
member of the Idaho Falls High School
volleyball team, a team which has been the
5A State Champions the last three years
consecutively. The 5’11” outside hitter, in
helping Idaho Falls become one of the most
accomplished high school volleyball teams in
the state of Idaho, has established some
very impressive statistics. During her
senior year Christiansen recorded, 260
kills, 90 service aces, 232 digs, and 353
points. She has been a member of both the
District 4-5-6—2nd Team All
Conference, and the High County Conference—1st
Team.
Christiansen graduates in 2006, and will be
a member of the Warrior’s 2006 volleyball
squad. Her speed and athleticism will bring
another offensive presence to the volleyball
program.
