FRESHMAN: Played in 22 matches and 80 games, the second most among the freshmen on the team last year…had 145 kills, which ranked fourth on the team, and tied for third in digs with 179.averaged 2.24 digs per game, which was third on the team…Saw more action as the season progressed. HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-year varsity letterwinner in volleyball and served as the team’s co-captain both her junior and senior seasons…named to the Big 9 Conference second team her final two years...also played third base on the softball team. PERSONAL: Born Oct. 13, 1986…parents are Randy and Lori… has two brothers, Ryan and Tyler…was named a scholar-athlete all four years in high school...father played baseball at Washington State University. FAVORITE MOVIE: Man On Fire. FAVORITE FOODS: Pasta and Mexican. DREAM JOB: Firefighter/EMT. FAVORITE PHRASE: “Nelly Furtado.” NICKNAME: Jitters COACH MELLINGER ON LINDSAY: “I think she’s grown a lot in the last year. She had to mature very quickly last year and I think she will be a large key in what we do this season.”
