SOPHOMORE:
During 2004
campaign, she played in 27 matches and 100 games
and an outside hitter…finished second on the
team in blocks with 64, was third in hitting
percentage at .184 and fifth on the team in
kills with 186…also had 18 aces.
FRESHMAN:
Registered 95 kills in 24 matches in 2003 for an
average of 1.48 kills per game…hitting .214 for
the season and finished with 41 digs and 18
blocks.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Attended F.P. Walshe High School in Fort Macleod
Alberta...was named Most Athletic Female as a
junior and senior...named team MVP and league
All-Star in volleyball, basketball, and rugby in
2001 and 2002...named league MVP in rugby in
2001 and 2002...broke her own league record in
rugby with 36 tries in 10 games as a
senior...led the Flyers to championships in
volleyball, basketball, and rugby.
PERSONAL:
Born June 27, 1985 in Fort Macleod, Alberta to
Larry and Dawn Lauder…has one brother, Brad, and
two sisters, Sandy and Lindy…Played two seasons
at LCSC before sitting out the last two seasons
after marrying former LCSC baseball player Allen
Balmer and giving birth to their son,
Brody….Dawn, who is a Kinesiology major, enjoys
playing basketball, rugby, and golf. |
