Lewis-Clark State College freshman Josi Lyman was named the Frontier Conference’s Volleyball Player of the Week, while the Warrior volleyball team remained at No. 12 in this week’s NAIA Coaches’ Poll, which was released on Tuesday.

Lyman is the second Warrior to receive the honor this season. Junior outside hitter Anile Clemente won the inaugural Player of the Week award for this season.
Also on Tuesday, the NAIA poll came out and for the third straight week, the Warriors remained at No. 12. LCSC is 17-0 overall and trails No. 11 Dordt of Iowa by one point. Dordt jumped from No. 15 to No. 11, replacing Northwestern of Iowa, which fell out of the top 10.
The top five spots in the poll remained unchanged as Fresno Pacific still leads the poll with a 14-0 record and all 26 first-place votes.
LCSC is 17-0 on the season and is off to its best start since the 2000 season when the Warriors started a program-best 19-0.
