The Lewis-Clark State College women’s volleyball team jumped four spots to No. 12 in the first NAIA regular-season poll, which was released on Tuesday.
The Warriors, 12-0 on the season, were ranked No. 16 in the preseason poll but climbed four spots after winning their first 12 matches of the season. LCSC’s 12-0 mark is tied for the best in the NAIA along with Morningside College of Iowa.
LCSC’s hot start is its best since the 2000 season when the Warriors won their first 19 matches.
LCSC resumes play on Thursday when it kicks off the Frontier Conference portion of its schedule against Montana Tech at 7 p.m. LCSC also plays host to Montana Western at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
