Despite winning a pair of matches on the road and being one of only four unbeaten volleyball teams left in the NAIA, Lewis-Clark State remained at No. 12 in the NAIA weekly poll, which was released on Tuesday.
The Warriors, who have the best record in the NAIA at 16-0, received 489 points in the voting and trail No. 11 Georgetown of Kentucky, who is 6-5, by 27 points.
There was very little movement in this week’s poll among the top teams as the top four spots remained unchanged. No. 5 Point Loma Nazarene fell to No. 13, and No. 14 Vanguard moved up four spots to No. 10. California schools hold five of the top 10 spots in the poll, including the top four.
Oregon Institute of Technology is the only other school outside of California in the West to be ranked. OIT is at No. 18. Great Falls, which LCSC swept last week on the road, received votes but didn’t break into the Top 25.
LCSC has only one match this week when it travels to Salt Lake City to face Westminster at 6 p.m. on Friday.
