SOPHOMORE:
Played in 117 games and all
34 matches and provided key
leadership despite her
youth…finished third on the
team in kills with 285 and
was also third in service
aces with 33…played mostly
behind the conference’s co-libero
of the Year Lindsay Scott,
but provided a solid
presence on the
court…finished in double
digits 13 times in digs,
including a season-high 20
in a five-game win over
Menlo College…finished with
13 digs three times,
including the season finale
against Lubbock Christian at
the NAIA National
Tournament…had 11 matches
where she recorded two or
more service aces, including
a season-high three on two
occasions...was named to the
Academic All-Conference
team.
FRESHMAN:
Became a key contributor
right away, playing mainly
at the libero position…saw
action in 33 matches and 110
games…third best on the team
in digs with 257…fourth on
the team in service aces
with 38…finished with nine
service aces…recorded season
high of 20 digs against
Westminster in first meeting
of the season…had 11 matches
of 10-plus digs, and also
had five service aces in
match against Rocky
Mountain…finished with two
or more aces in five
matches.
HIGH SCHOOL:
A three-sport standout in
volleyball, basketball and
softball at Pullman…earned
three volleyball letters at
libero playing for Greeny
and earned first-team
all-league honors as well as
all-state honors as a junior
and senior…helped Pullman
win its first state
volleyball title in
2005…Pullman placed all
three years at state while
she was there…started all
four years in softball at
shortstop and earned
second-team all-league
honors her first year two
years and then first-team
honors her final two
years…was team MVP three
times and an all-state
selection as a
senior….played guard for
basketball team and led
squad to third-place finish
at state her junior year and
to the league title as a
senior…her numerous awards
include being named Pullman
High’s Female Athlete of the
Year in 2007.
PERSONAL:
Born July 18, 1988 to Phil
and Pam Hinrichs in
Pullman…has two brothers,
Phillip Jr., and Kyle...her
father played professional
baseball in the San
Francisco Giants
organization…as well as a
busy athletic career at PHS,
she served as ASB Vice
President, was on the
Athletic Council, and was
awarded the Jessica Clark
Memorial Scholarship…hobbies
include scrapbooking….She is
majoring in Business
Administration.
