WHITEFISH, Mont. – Eleven members of the three-time Frontier Conference champions Lewis-Clark State College women’s volleyball team earned 2009 Academic All-Conference volleyball honors, league officials announced on Monday.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in standing, have a 3.0 GPA, and participate in one half of the team’s games during the 2009 season.
The Warrior women’s volleyball team had four players earn perfect 4.0 GPAs last semester – seniors Lisa Davis and Dani Barrett, along with juniors Jenika Bird and Kim Fong. Four others had GPAs higher than 3.50.
