SOPHOMORE:
Had an outstanding year that was highlighted by being named to the All-Frontier Conference Second Team…finished second on the team with 235 kills…also showed off her powerful swing with 48 service aces, second on the team…her 142 digs was sixth-best for Lewis-Clark State, and also was sixth in both blocks (21) and solo blocks (5)…hit .192 on the season…had six matches with 10-plus kills, including season-high 14 in NAIA national tournament opening-round win over Southern Oregon…also had season highs of 12 digs, five service aces (twice) and 2.5 blocks…earned FC All-Academic honors.

FRESHMAN:
Moved into the starting lineup after an a season-ending injury to Josi Lyman and enjoyed an outstanding season…was named to the Frontier Conference’s All-Freshman squad…had 173 kills, which was third on the team…hit .247 on the season…was sixth on the team in blocks with 36, including 32 block assists…also added 43 digs and four assists…had season-high 14 kills early in the season against Concordia…posted season highs of six digs and four blocks…one of her best matches of the season came against Lubbock Christian at the NAIA Tournament when she had 12 kills, two digs, two blocks, and hit .393.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Was a four-year starter in volleyball, and also was on the soccer and track teams for two seasons…during her freshman season, her volleyball team made it to the first round of the CIF playoffs and received the Gatorade Award…she earned all-Empire League honors and the Coaches Award during her sophomore year as the team again made the first round of the CIF playoffs…during junior year, Herrick earned all-league honors, was the Team MVP, Team Captain, and earned the Best Offensive Award…her team also made it to the second round of the state playoffs…as a senior, she was the CIF SS Division III Player of the Year, the Empire League MVP, Team MVP, Team Captain, and won the coaches Award…also was named as a Player to Watch by the Orange County Register. ..Cypress High also won the Empire League title and captured the CIF SS Division III crown for the first time in school history…the team finished with a 32-2 record, also the best in school history…won Bank of America certificate in Arts.

PERSONAL:
Born May 4, 1990…parents are Jeanna and Joe Herrick…has one brother, Hunter (16), and one sister, Maddison (15)…Credits her brother for being her inspiration after he was diagnosed with a rare childhood cancer, but we later declared cancer free after treatments…she played for the Mizuno Long Beach (18 Runbird) club team, in the Junior Olympics in Dallas during the summer…hobbies are skiing, snowmobiling, watching and memorizing movies, soccer, and beach volleyball…is a Graphics Design major.
