LCSC volleyball signs 6-foot-3 freshman Luebbert-Kennedy
3/7/2012
Keisha Luebbert-Kennedy, a 6-foot-3 middle blocker/outside hitter from Evergreen High School in Vancouver, Wash., has signed a letter of intent to play for the Lewis-Clark State College women’s volleyball team next fall, Warrior coach LaToya Harris has announced.

Luebbert-Kennedy earned four varsity letters and was captain of the team her final three seasons at Evergreen. She earned first-team all-league honors as a sophomore and a senior, and was a second-team selection as a junior.

“I’m excited about her,” said Harris. “She’s strong, very aggressive, and she’s competitive as well. I watched her play when I coached club, and her work ethic and leadership is very strong. She’ll be a great addition for us next year.”

Luebbert-Kennedy has received a Athletic-Scholar Award every semester at Evergreen and was the Columbian newspaper’s Star Athlete of the Week during September last year.

She also plays on the Excel Northwest Volleyball Club team.

Luebbert-Kennedy will major in Business Administration at LCSC.
