JUNIOR: Served as the team’s primary right-side hitter and appeared in all 29 matches…was second on the team in sets played with 110, was third in kills with 245, and sixth in hitting percentage at .210…also finished fourth on the team with 52 assists, was sixth in service aces with 15, fourth in digs at 181, and fourth in total blocks with 44…one of her best matches came at home against Westminster when she had a season-high 16 kills with a .297 hitting clip…she received second-team All-Frontier Conference honors.
 

SOPHOMORE:
Showed her athleticism by making the jump from track to volleyball…mainly used as an outside hitter, but also saw action in the back row…finished seventh on the team in kills with 23 and hit .179…also finished with 10 digs and 11 blocks, including two block assists…had season-highs of five kills twice… had five kills, two digs, and four blocks against Whitman, and five kills, two digs and two blocks against Montana Western…had season high two digs three times during the season and four blocks also was a season high.

COLLEGE: Competed in track and field for two years, including one year as a redshirt, at Washington State University where she ran the 200 and 400 meters and also ran a leg on the 4 x 400 relay team…ran an indoor season best of 57.57 in the 400 and 26.53 in the 200 before a leg injury sidelined her for most of the outdoor season during her freshman year…came back strong as a sophomore and posted time of 56.2 and 26.1 indoors, and a 25.9 in the 200 outdoors…was a Pac-10 meet qualifier for both indoor seasons and the one outdoor season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned seven varsity letters at Shadle Park High, including three in volleyball and four in track...during volleyball career was team MVP three times...team undefeated as freshman...won coaches award...squad finished eighth in regional sophomore season but went on to eighth in state 4A finals junior year...won sportsmanship award...senior year Highlanders took fifth place in state tournament...named to All-Greater Spokane League as a senior...on the track as a freshman she grabbed fourth at state meet in the 4x400m relay...sophomore year at state meet placed sixth in the 4x400m relay, eighth in 4x200m relay, and ninth in high jump...junior year at 2007 state championships took third in 400m (56.15), second in 4x400m relay and eighth in 4x200m relay...at state 4A meet as a senior finished eighth in 400m and ran third leg of winning 4x400m relay…named to all-GSL team all four years…served as team captain final two seasons in both sports.

PERSONAL: Born Nov. 21, 1989…parents are Tony and Angela Brown…has two brothers, DJ and Anthony, who plays basketball at Eastern Oregon…played for the Sideout Club Team in volleyball and was the Team Captain…was a teammate at Shadle Park and Sideout with current Warrior Kaylee Rector…made the Dean’s List at WSU…hobbies include running, sleeping, and eating…is majoring in Psychology.
