JUNIOR: Took over as the team’s starting libero and appeared in 28 matches and 103 sets…led the team with 337 digs (10th in conference) and was third in service aces with 23…she reached double digits in digs in 15 different matches and had over 20 digs on three occasions…collected a season-high 32 digs on the road in the Frontier Conference title match against Rocky Mountain which tied for sixth most in a single match in program history…received conference all-academic honors. 

SOPHOMORE:
Saw action in 33 matches and 90 sets, mainly as a backup to graduated libero Katie Hinrichs… Showed off her defensive skills by finishing fourth on the team in digs with 135…had a particularly strong postseason when she averaged nearly five digs per match…had season-high 16 digs against Montana Tech and had seven matches with at least seven digs…also had six assists, three service aces, and one kill…had season-high two service aces against Warner Pacific…had nine digs against Point Loma Nazarene at the NAIA national tournament...earned Academic All-Frontier Conference honors.

FRESHMAN: Suffered season-ending arm injury two-thirds of the way through the season…played well up to the injury…she was used as a back-row specialist and backup libero…finished eighth on the team with seven service aces…also had 29 digs, one kill, and one assist…the kill and assist came in a conference match against Carroll… she also had season-high six digs against Whitman in a five-set victory…her seven service aces came in seven different matches.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Shadle Park High where she was on the varsity volleyball squad her final two years as a defensive specialist/libero…earned first-team all-Greater Spokane League honors as a senior when she helped the team win the Washington State Class 3A title with an 18-5 record…wound up with 504 digs during the season…as a junior, she was an honorable mention all-GSL pick while her team went on to place fifth at the state tournament at the 4A level…also a two-year member of the track team where she was a pole vaulter.

PERSONAL: Born Feb. 5, 1991…parents are Steve and Lana Rector…has one brother, Chris, and a sister Emily…brother plays for the Eastern Washington University club hockey team…dad played football at Whitworth…she posted a 3.47 GPA at Shadle Park…was a varsity cheerleader for two years and took third in a competition at Seattle as a junior…played for the Sideout Club Team in volleyball…hobbies include anything outdoors, shopping, watching movies, and lots of naps...is majoring in Radiology.
