Seven members of the Lewis-Clark State College volleyball team were chosen for the 2012 Frontier Conference All-Academic team on Monday by league commissioner Kent Paulson.

To be eligible for all-academic honors, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.0 GPA and be at least a sophomore in standing that has been enrolled for the previous two semesters.

The Warriors selected for the team included: seniors Nevena Dragovic (Computer Science) and Kaylee Rector (Radiographic Science), juniors Naomi Hernandez (Business & Communications) and Chelsea Shears (Kinesiology), and sophomores Kawena Puhi (Pre-Nursing), Mallorie Schoesler (Undeclared) and Chelsea Strong (Pre-Nursing).

Lewis-Clark State finished the season 16-10 overall and won its sixth consecutive Frontier Conference regular season championship with an 11-4 league mark.
