LCSC VOLLEYBALL ROAD CAMPS
In the past four years, coach Yoshimura has conducted more than 65 volleyball road camps, traveling an estimated 40,000 miles, representing Lewis-Clark State College. This type of camp provides more opportunities for more athletes at a very reasonable cost. All revenue from these camps supports the Warrior Volleyball Program.

CAMP FORMAT AND COST
12-hour option: 2 days with 12 total hours of instruction: $55 per athlete. 18-hour option: 3 days with 18 total hours of instruction: $75 per athlete.
Fee includes a free souvenir for each camper.
NOTE: Custom hours/fees can be negotiated for unique camp situations.

CAMP CONTENT
Kip Yoshimura and his staff is prepared to teach all individual and team systems. As director, coach Yoshimura will with you to design the contents of your camp. Sessions on strength and jump training, advanced techniques and systems, as well as a review of the college reecruiting process are only examples of what can be included.
NEW FOR 1999: We will provide player skill guidebooks, a coaches manual of skills, systems and drills, individual written player evaluations and camp awards.

CAMP STAFF
Along with head coach Yoshimura, a camp staff consisting of his assistant coaches, including current and former collegiate players, will be assembled for each road volleyball camp.

SCHEDULING YOUR CAMP
The Lewis-Clark State College Volleyball Road Camp staff will be available to work your camp for mid-May to early August. Coaches are encouraged to reply early, as last year's "prime" camp weeks (mid-July to late July) were reserved early. Note that an effort to combine travel with other camps will be made.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You will need to publicize your camp, take care of player registration and collection of fees, and secure facilities. In the past we have had schools join together to host a camp to increase the number of participants. Also, as part of the agreement, we ask that the host coach arrange for overnight accommodations for our staff.

CAMP PLANNING
If you decide to host an LCSC Volleyball Road Camp we suggest you:

1. Have a team meeting with your team to field interest and determine possible dates.
2. Call, write or e-mail to reserve dates. Include an estimate of number of participants.
3. Reserve gymnasium facilities.
4. Plan camp features and content.
5. Publicize your camp with flyers, community announcements, etc.
6. Collect camp registration and fees.
7. Arrange housing for Road Camp coaches.
8. Volleyball Road Camp staff conducts your camp. At final session, make check available (payable to LCSC Volleyball).
