Volleyball Remains Second in Current NAIA Top-25 Poll
The Warriors, 12-0 overall and 2-0 in the Frontier Conference, grabbed six first-place votes and holds 328 total points, despite being idle for the past week. Top-seeded Columbia (MO) College was defeated this past week by NCAA Division II member, Truman (MO) State University, ranked 21st in the NCAA D-II poll, 3-2, which snapped Columbias 102-match winning streak and 342 total points. The Cougars, who had held 10 first-place votes last week, now have seven votes for the top spot. The College of Saint Mary (NE), still has the other first-place vote and drops to third, after being tied with the Warriors last week in second-place.
Other NAIA Region I members in the Top-25 are: #9 Concordia (OR)
University and #20 Rocky Mountain College, of the Frontier Conference. Concordia fell one
spot to #9 from last week and Rocky Mountain is making its debut in the Top-25 Poll.
Frontier Conference-member, Carroll College remains just one vote shy of the Top-25.

Lewis-Clark State will take on Carroll College on Saturday, October 7th at the Warrior Gymnasium and will face Rocky Mountain College Friday and Saturday, October 20th and 21st in Billings, MT.
The Warriors return home on Friday, September 29th, in a Frontier Conference match against Westminster College of Salt Lake City, UT, at 7:00 pm in Warrior Gymnasium. The two teams will meet again on Saturday, at 2:00 pm, and L-C will then host another conference match, against Montana State University-Northern, at 7:00 pm. The three matches are the first home conference matches for the Warriors.
