Volleyball Still #2 in Current NAIA Top-25 Poll

Lewiston, ID-
The Lewis-Clark State College women’s volleyball team remains in second-place, for the fifth straight week, in the current NAIA Top-25 Poll released Tuesday, October 9th.

The Warriors, 17-0 overall and 6-0 in the Frontier Conference, recorded four first-place votes and holds 328 total points, four more than last wek. The Warriors completed a 2-0 week with wins over NCAA II-member Central Washington, 3-0, and conference-rival Carroll College, 3-0. Top-seeded Columbia (MO) College, 25-1, holds the top-spot once again with 10 first-place votes and 346 points. Positions one-through-nine did not change from last week.

Other NAIA Region I members in the Top-25 are: #8 Concordia (OR) University and #25 Southern Oregon.

Lewis-Clark State takes on Frontier Conference rivals Montana Tech, Thursday, October 12th at 7:00 pm, and Western Montana, Saturday, October 14th at 7:00 pm, at the Warrior Gymnasium. These are the final regular-season home matches for Warriors.

Saturday, October 14th will be "Senior Night" at Lewis-Clark State. Marci Pascua (Grass Valley, CA) and Regina Cooper (John Day, OR) will wrap up their regular-season careers at Warrior Gym.
