Cooper Named NAIA Region I Co-Player-of-the-Week and Conference Player-of-the-Week

Lewis-Clark State College senior outside hitter Regina Cooper (John Day, OR) was named the NAIA Region I Co-Player-of-the-Week and Frontier Conference Player-of-the-Week for the period ending Sunday, October 15th.

Cooper had a dominating week for the Warriors. Playing in her final two regular-season matches for Lewis-Clark State, Cooper recorded 39 kills, 24 digs and four total blocks to go along with a .507 attack percentage. These stats were recorded in two, three-game, matches. Cooper won the Frontier Conference Player-of-the-Week earlier this year, September 18th. She shared the NAIA Region I honors with Jen Svirsky from Oregon Tech.

The Warriors (19-0, 8-0 Frontier Conference) will travel to Rocky Mountain College (23-4, 5-1) in Billings, MT for two matches. The first match will take place on Thursday, October 19th at 6:00 pm Pacific. The second match will be Friday, October 20th at 3:00 pm Pacific.
