Volleyball #2 for Sixth Consecutive Week

The Lewis-Clark State College women’s volleyball team remains in second-place, for the sixth straight week, in the current NAIA Top-25 Poll released Tuesday, October 16th.

The Warriors, 19-0 overall and 8-0 in the Frontier Conference, recorded four first-place votes and garnered 332 total points, four more than last week. The Warriors completed a 2-0 week with wins over conference-rivals Montana Tech and Western Montana, 3-0. Lewis-Clark went 7-0 this year at home and won all 21 games.

Top-seeded Columbia (MO) College, 27-1, holds the top-spot for the sixth-straight week with 10 first-place votes and 346 points. Dickinson State ND) University (#3), Palm Beach (FL) Atlantic College (#4) and Point Loma (CA) Nazarene College all moved up one spot, while the College of St. Mary (NE) slid down to #6.

Other NAIA Region I members in the Top-25 are: #7 Concordia (OR) University and #22 Southern Oregon.

Lewis-Clark State travels to Billings, MT for a big Frontier Conference showdown against Rocky Mountain (23-4, 5-1) on Thursday and Friday, October 19th and 20th. Rocky Mountain picked up four votes for the Top-25.
