Volleyball Remains Second in Current NAIA Top-25 Poll

The Lewis-Clark State College women’s volleyball team remains in second-place, for the fourth straight week, in the current NAIA Top-25 Poll released Tuesday, October 2nd.

The Warriors, 15-0 overall and 5-0 in the Frontier Conference, recorded four first-place votes and holds 324 total points. Lewis-Clark State, the only undefeated team in the NAIA ranks, lost two first-place votes and four overall points from last week’s poll, despite going 3-0 last week, all were conference victories Top-seeded Columbia (MO) College remains in first with 10 first-place votes and 346 points. The College of Saint Mary (NE), Dickinson State (ND) University, and Palm Beach (FL) Atlantic College round out the top-five.

Other NAIA Region I members in the Top-25 are: #8 Concordia (OR) University and #21 Rocky Mountain College, of the Frontier Conference. Concordia moved up one spot to #8 from last week and Rocky Mountain fell one spot.

Lewis-Clark State takes on Central Washington, tonight, in Ellensburg, WA, and will face conference-rival, Carroll College, on Saturday, October 7th at the Warrior Gym.

Saturday, October 14th will be "Senior Night" at Lewis-Clark State. Marci Pascua (Graass Valley, CA) and Regina Cooper (John Day, OR) will wrap up their regular-season careers at Warrior Gym.
