Volleyball Jumps to #17

The Lewis-Clark State College women’s volleyball team moved up four spots to #17 in the current NAIA Top-25 Poll released Tuesday, November 14th.

The Warriors, 21-4 overall, finished second at the Frontier Conference Championships last weekend. L-C defeated Carroll College, 3-1, in the semifinals and then lost in the championship match, 3-2, to top-seed Rocky Mountain.

Top-seeded Columbia (MO) College, 36-1, holds the top-spot for the ninth-straight week with all 14 first-place votes and 350 points. The next three, Dickinson (ND) State, Georgetown (KY), St. Mary (NE), and Fresno Pacific all stay the same in the top-five.

The other NAIA Region I members in the Top-25 are #6 Concordia (OR) University and #12 Rocky Mountain.

Lewis-Clark State, the third-seed in the NAIA Pacific Northwest Regional, will open play on Friday, November 17th against Simon Fraser at 1:00 pm. At 7:00 pm that night, the Warriors will take on host and top-seed Concordia.
