Volleyball Falls to #21

The Lewis-Clark State College women’s volleyball team dropped to #21, after being ranked #14, in the current NAIA Top-25 Poll released Tuesday, November 7th.

The Warriors, 20-3 overall and 9-3 in the Frontier Conference, split its two matches last week, winning 3-0 over MSU-Northern Friday afternoon, and then losing 3-2 to Carroll College on Saturday. This is L-C’s lowest ranking this year.

Top-seeded Columbia (MO) College, 36-1, holds the top-spot for the eighth-straight week with all 14 first-place votes and 350 points. The next three, Dickinson State, Georgetown, and St. Mary, all remain the same from last week. Fresno Pacific is the newest member of the top-five.

The other NAIA Region I members in the Top-25 are #6 Concordia (OR) University, #15 Carroll, and #17 Rocky Mountain.

Lewis-Clark State, the second-seed, opens the Frontier Conference Tournament on Friday, November 11th, against Carroll at a time yet to be determined. Rocky Mountain College hosts the tournament in Billings, MT.
