Covelli Named Frontier Conference Setter of the Week

LEWISTON, ID-Lewis-Clark State College freshman setter Jennifer Covelli (Edmonton, Alberta/Salisbury Composite High School) was named the Frontier Conference’s Setter of the Week for the week ending September 2nd. University of Montana-Western middle blocker Katie Ryan was named Player of the Week.

Covelli recorded 170 assists in three matches at the Northwest Nazarene University Volleyball Tournament last weekend. She was named to the All-Tournament Team. Covelli leads the Warriors with 351 assists this season.

The 25th-ranked Warriors will travel to Portland, OR to play in the Concordia University Volleyball Tournament starting tomorrow and concluding Saturday.

SCHEDULE NOTE: The Warriors will open play on Friday against Warner Pacific at 12:15 PM and then face 18th-ranked Lubbock Christian at 5:00 PM. On Saturday, Lewis-Clark State will battle the College of Notre Dame at 10:00 AM and then wrap up the tournament at 5:00 PM against Western Baptist.
