Warriors Stay at #9 for Third Consecutive Week
Lewiston, ID-The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released its Top 25 women’s volleyball poll, Tuesday, October 16th, and the Lewis-Clark State College Warriors remain #9 for the third consecutive week.
Lewis-Clark State (20-1, 9-0 Frontier Conference) have won 18 matches in a row including a pair of conference wins this past weekend at MSU-Northern and Great Falls. The Warriors are 2-1 against ranked opponents.
The top-five remain the same, but with a couple major changes. Things stay the atop the poll with Columbia College. The College of St. Mary moves up to #2, Dickinson State jumps to #3, and National American plummets to #5.
Concordia University of Portland remains the top-ranked team in NAIA Region I and are ranked eighth overall for the third straight week. Carroll College falls one spot from last week to #20.
The Warriors return home for a pair of Frontier Conference matches. Thursday
night, Lewis-Clark State hosts Montana Tech at 7:00 PM, and on Saturday, the
Warriors host the University of Montana-Western, also at 7:00 PM. LCSC will
close the regular season, at home, November 3rd, against Westminster College.
Prior to the start of the match, coach Kip Yoshimura will recognize the seniors
on his team.
