Igoe Named to Verizon Academic All-America Third Team

Lewiston, ID-Senior Angela Igoe’s (Firth, ID/Firth HS) accolades continue to pour in as she was named to the Verizon Academic All-America Women’s Volleyball Third Team (College Division), released Thursday, December 13th. The College Division is comprised of all non-NCAA Division I institutions. Igoe was the only student-athlete honored, on either the first, second or third team, from a NAIA school.

Igoe, a 6-0 outside hitter, posted a 3.86 grade point average in Environmental Biology. She recently was named Academic All-America for the second year in a row. Igoe led the Warriors in kills (510), kills per game (4.29), service aces (59), and was third on the team in digs with 371. This year, she has been named Frontier Conference Player of the Week, All-Conference first team, and first-team All-Pacific Northwest Region. Igoe also earned Verizon Academic All-District VIII honors.
