Igoe Named First-Team NAIA All-America

Lewiston, ID-Senior Angela Igoe (Firth, ID/Firth HS) was named First-Team NAIA All-America, Wednesday, December 5th. Igoe was an honorable mention All-America selection in 1999. Igoe becomes the fourth Warrior to earn first-team All-America honors. Joy Dunn (1999), Kymm Lingnaw (1997), and Kelli Harris (1996) were the other honorees.

Igoe, a 6-0 outside hitter, had been recently named NAIA Academic All-America for the second year in a row. Igoe led the Warriors in kills (510), kills per game (4.29), service aces (59), and was third on the team in digs with 371. This year, she has been named Frontier Conference Player of the Week, All-Conference first team, and first-team All-Pacific Northwest Region. Igoe also earned Verizon Academic All-District honors.
