Warriors Win 14th Straight Over RMC, 3-0

LEWISTON, ID--The 10th-ranked Lewis-Clark State College Warriors defeated the Rocky Mountain College Battlin’ Bears, 3-0, in a Frontier Conference volleyball match, Thursday night, at Warrior Gymnasium.

The Warriors (16-1, 5-0 Frontier) were led by Angela Igoe’s team-high 11 kills and seven service aces. Shandy Joblin and Jennifer Covelli added 18 and 13 assists, respectively. Kim Conder led the Warrior defense with seven digs. The Warriors are on an 14-match winning streak. Covelli played in her first match since a minor injury that happened in last Friday’s match at Montana-Western.

The Battlin’ Bears (8-8, 1-3 Frontier) were led by Tiffani Bauer’s nine kills. Marcia Compton tallied 27 assists. Kelsey Williams led the Rocky defense with eight digs.

Lewis-Clark State will host 25th-ranked Carroll College, Saturday night, at 7:00 PM, in Warrior Gymnasium
