High School:  Charyn captained the team her senior year.  She was chosen as the Most Improved Player, named to the All-Star Team, and voted the MVP her senior year.  Charyn is an Honor Roll student.  She played volleyball for Beverley Hott at Blackfoot High School in Blackfoot, ID.

Personal:  Charyn is a Nursing major.  She is the daughter of Paul and Serena Yancey.  She was born on August 9,1984 and has one sister Erika who is 19.
