shoulder injury...Was awarded a medical
redshirt...Recorded 60 kills, 24 total blocks and an impressive .336
attack percentage...Tallied 17 kills against tenth-ranked Bellevue
University in the championship match of the Holiday Inn Express
Invitational, 8/25...Also added eight total blocks in the same match.
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Lettered at the College of Southern
Idaho in Twin Falls...Helped lead the Golden Eagles to the NJCAA National Title and a 49-5
overall record...Named to the NJCAA All-Tournament Team...Selected to the All-North
District Team in 2000...Registered 285 kills and 130 total blocks last year for CSI...As a
freshman, she helped lead CSI to a 46-3 overall record and a third-place finish at the
NJCAA National Tournament...A second-team All-Scenic West Athletic
Conference Region 18 selection...Tallied 273 kills and posted a .368
attack percentage...Recorded 162 total blocks in 1999...Played for
legendary coach Ben Stroud.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered four years in volleyball, and three years in
basketball and track at Temple High School...Named Central Texas Player of
the Year as a senior...Two-time All-State and All-Region
selection...Tabbed Most Outstanding Performer as a senior at Temple
High...Earned best offensive player award in both volleyball and
basketball as a junior and senior...Two-time All-State selection in
basketball...Also named All-Region Most Valuable Player in basketball as a
junior...Played volleyball for coach Rhonda Etheridge.
