Personal Bests: Ran 55.0 in the 400; 2:01 in the 800; 4:42 in the 1,600; 10:04 in the 3,200; and 16:18 in the 5,000 (latter three times in altitude).

 

 


 

 

 

 


 

 

Jake was Moffat County’s top distance runner the past three years and was the first athlete to finish in the top 10 at a state cross country meet in seven years when he placed eighth at last year’s 4A meet. He also placed seventh in the 3,200 at the Colorado State track meet last spring.

Jake won the 2006 Western Slope Regional title and earned numerous academic awards in track in his junior and senior years. 

PERSONAL: Born June 21, 1988 in Stockton, CA. Parents are Tim and Nancy Miller and he has one brother, Danny. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned all-state honors as a junior and senior in cross country and all-state in track his senior year for the 3,200 meters and the 3,200 relay. 

FAVORITE MOVIE: “Scarface”
