Lindsay came into the
program with a minimal amount of cross country
experience but has already demonstrating that
she will be big part of the program’s future.
She ran varsity and ran at nationals, which
allowed her to gain a lot of experience and
confidence. She broke 19 minutes for the first
time.
PERSONAL:
Born. 2, 1988 in Orting Washington to Lisa and
William Szybura.Has a twin sister, Beah.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Competed as a three-sport athlete in soccer,
basketball, and track until her senior year when
she switched from soccer to cross country and
changed her focus.Earned four letters for track
as well as qualified for state track three
years.Earned two letters in soccer. Was a
Washington State Senior All Star for Cross
country after finishing ninth at the 2A state
meet.
