about us

Art Under the Elms (AUE) began in 1984 as a celebration of the arts in north central
Idaho and has become one of the largest outdoor festivals in the state. This art
festival features over 100 of the region’s finest artists, along with regional entertainers on two stages and family-friendly activities and attractions spanning 3 days. More than just a community festival, AUE is also a significant fundraiser for Continuing Education & Community Events.

Performances on two stages highlighting a wide variety of music.
Arts activities for children and families.
An international-style food court offering flavors from around the world.

AUE is the signature event of the annual month-long Dogwood Festival of the Lewis-Clark Valley. For additional Dogwood Festival information, visit  www.lcsc.edu/dogwood.

Art Under the Elms is the major fundraiser for LCSC Continuing Education & Community Events.  Proceeds from participants, visitors and sponsors support event operations as well as benefit the following programs:

Community Education & Personal Enrichment Courses & Workshops
