Join the Dogwood Fairy for a Tea
Party
A free tea party for children and adults of all ages featuring the
Dogwood Fairies is one of the events that will take place
Saturday and Sunday at the annual Dogwood Festival’s Art
Under the Elms. There will be 10 tea parties – five each day
– with a maximum of 30 persons at each party. Raspberry iced
tea and other treats will be served at the tea by the
Dogwood Fairies, who sprinkle fairy dust and welcome
visitors to the event.
Also, each child in attendance will receive a manners scroll
to take home. The scroll will contain 10 rules to tea
etiquette. Pictures are allowed during the tea parties and
some of the fairies will be available after the parties for
pictures with the children. The tea party is part of the
Family Fun Fair and will be located on the lawn on the west
side of the LCSC Administration Building.
Because seating is limited, there will be signup sheets
where the tea party is being held. Signups can be for the
next available party or for open party on a first-come
basis. Adults are also invited to the party, but must sign
up as well. Each tea will last for approximately 30 minutes.
