Jury Applicants:  Submit applications on-line through ZAPP at https://www.zapplication.org/index.php

As part of your application you will be required to submit product and booth images of your current work, an artist statement and applicable jury fee (see below for details).  Please Note:  Submitted images and artist statements may be used for promotional purposes.

1. Images – Submit a total of four (4 ) images (three product images per medium and one booth image).  Work depicted in images must be representative of current work.  The booth image (4th image), preferably an image of an outdoor booth presentation, must be a display of the artist's work, showing overall continuity and presentation of current body of work.  If an outdoor booth image is not available, artist may submit an image taken of a grouping of works representative of the scope of works to be exhibited at the show.  Jury images must accurately represent the artist’s work intended for exhibit and be representative of the price range, including both lower and higher priced items.  Art under the Elms reserves the right to ask vendors selling any non-juried type items to leave immediately; all fees will be forfeited.

Detailed image requirements may be found at www.zapplication.org/imaging_tips.html

2.  Artist’s Statement – This statement should describe the materials, techniques and creative processes used to produce your work and include any details, materials and processes that are unusual or not easily determined by viewing your submission images.  Artists are required to disclose any use of ready-made objects.  This statement should also endorse your hand-crafted status and will be available for jury committee review.

3.  Jury Fee –  A completed application for each medium must be accompanied with a $20 non-refundable jury fee.  Jury fees are payable on-line through ZAPP or by check or money order made payable to Art Under the Elms.  Please note that neither ZAPP nor Art Under the Elms store your card information.  Credit card transactions are processed through a secured server.

Payments made by check or money order may be mailed to:  Art Under the Elms, 500 8th Avenue, Lewiston, Idaho  83501.  Lewis-Clark State College will impose a $20 returned check fee on returned checks.  Make checks payable to Art Under the Elms.

HOW ARE ARTISTS SELECTED?
Jury Applicants:  Submitted images are reviewed by a panel of 5 or more anonymous jurors with professional knowledge and/or background with our festival.  The identities of the artists are not disclosed to the jurors.  The process, materials and dimensions for each image as well as artist statements will be made available to the jury.

Scoring is based on a scale of 1-10 for quality, creativity, originality and craftsmanship.  Scores are totaled for one cumulative score per artist.

No more than 120 artists are selected to participate in Art Under the Elms. Art Under the Elms strives to maintain no more than a 20% representation of any one category.  This percentage provides each artist with the opportunity to maximize sales.  We reserve the right to re-classify artwork. All fees are non-refundable.
