Connecting Research to Life

 

The 2008, 2nd Annual Lewis-Clark State College Collaborative Senior Research Symposium took place May 7-8, 2008 at the Williams Conference Center in Lewiston, Idaho from 9-4 each day. Participating this year from the Education, Humanities, Natural Sciences & Mathematics, Nursing & Health Sciences, and Social Sciences Divisions were the following programs: Biology, Communication Arts, Chemistry, Earth Information Science, English, Kinesiology, Natural Science, Nursing , Psychology, Social Work, and Social Science. There were 4 keynote presentations, 2 invited speaker presentations, and 109 student break-out and poster presentations this year.

 

The Mission of the Lewis-Clark State College Research Symposium and Student Research Excellence Journal is to enhance student academic achievement, professional development and award research excellence by providing the opportunity for students to present their research in symposium and the opportunity to publish their research for students, faculty, staff, stakeholders and the community through an online research journal forum
