As part of our “community college function,” Lewis-Clark State College offers three developmental mathematics classes: Prealgebra (Math 015), Basic Algebra (Math 025), and Intermediate Algebra. (Math 108). I teach all of these classes. In Spring 2009, I will also teach a practicum on Tutoring Developmental Math.
Your placement score determines your first math class at LCSC. This may be a COMPASS math score, an ACT math score, or a SAT math score. We do not use your last high school math course or grade for placement. You can find a link to your test/placement scores when you log in to Warrior Web as a student. To find the class that corresponds to your placement score, click the link below.
If you have questions about developmental math classes, contact me by e-mail or contact the Developmental Mathematics Coordinator, Mr. Alan Hain, at aphain@lcsc.edu.
I do not review voice mail during the summer or during breaks in the academic year.

Where, after all, do universal rights begin? In small places, close to home -- so close and so small that they cannot be seen on any map of the world. Yet they are the world of the individual person: the neighborhood he lives in; the school or college he attends; the factory, farm or office where he works. Such are the places where every man, woman, and child seeks equal justice, equal opportunity, equal dignity without discrimination. Unless these rights have meaning there, they have little meaning anywhere. Without concerted citizen action to uphold them close to home, we shall look in vain for progress in the larger world. --Eleanor Roosevelt, 1958 |
