Janice graduated in 1979 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Since graduation she has taught in many of the local Elementary schools in the areas of Kindergarten, 2nd grade and Remedial (Title 1) reading. She has also owned and operated her own Preschool, and taught parenting and G.E.D. classes at Walla Walla Community College.
Janice teaches all 14 of the Early Childhood development courses offered at LCSC. She has developed Internet classes for each of them. She also is the advisor for the program and spends time observing students on their practicum sites.
Janice is also the advisor for Early Childhood Bachelors (BAS) degree and the instructor for the Bachelor practicum course - ECDPT496.
