Professional Background:
Randy has taught for the Business Division every
semester except one since 1996. He started teaching in the United States
Air Force in 1977. In 1980, he earned his certification as a Master
Instructor and maintained certification until retiring from the Service
in 1991. After retiring from the USAF, Randy served as Area Manager for
U.S. Security in Miami, Florida, then as Director of Operations for
American Knights Security; also in Miami, Florida. Additionally, he was
elected by the board of directors at American Knights to be the
president of the company. Randy returned to his home state of Idaho
after leaving American Knights and has been teaching since. Randy enjoys
teaching at Lewis-Clark State College because it is a teaching college
and his enthusiasm shows.
Personal:
Randy's wife, Kathy, is the Dean of Community Programs at LCSC and they
have been married for over 36 years. They have a daughter, Heather, and
a grandson, PJ.
Associations/Affiliations:
Member of the Lewiston Chamber of Commerce; Member of the VFW; Member of
the Elks; Member of the Western Academy of Management; and Member of the
United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
Interests:
Boating, fishing, hunting, golfing, camping, traveling, and spending
time with family and friends.
