Professional Background:
R. Scot Haug is a certified public accountant,
licensed in both Idaho and Washington, with
extensive experience in public and private
accounting, as well as in financial technology
issues. R. Scot Haug currently is principal of a
full-service public accounting firm providing
attestation, tax, advisory, consulting, and
technology services. Scot has earned certification
as a networking instructor from Novell (CNI) and
network engineer certification from both Novell (CNE)
and Microsoft (MCSE). Scot also serves as a Director
on the board of MxSecure, Inc., a medical technology
company located in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Scot has taught for the Business Division of
Lewis-Clark State College as an adjunct instructor
every semester since 1996.
Personal:
Scot’s wife, Sharon, is the operations manager and a
registered investment advisor at Hart Capital
Management in Spokane, Washington. Scot and Sharon
have been married for 40 years. They have three
children, Scot, who is a lieutenant at the Post
Falls, Police Department, Steve an investment
advisor in Portland, Oregon, and a daughter,
Stephanie, who is a Lewis-Clark State College
alumna, is a tax attorney in Tampa, Florida.

Interests:
Golfing, jazz, gardening, and grandchildren.
