First of two sequential courses that
constitute the first year of
instruction in Nimipuutimt, Nez
Perce language. Emphasis is on
speaking and understanding, but the
courses develop all four language
skills in their normal order:
listening, speaking, reading and
writing. Within the context of
language instruction, students will
become familiar with Nez Perce
attitudes and behaviors and the
geography, political infrastructure
and day-to-day life of Nez Perce
People.

Second of two sequential courses
that constitute the first year of
