The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
is where you need to start. This website offers a tool to help
you estimate what your need and contribution will be. The
forecaster is available at anytime of the year. Get a jump start
and gain an early awareness of the process.

Q2: Have you applied for admission to LCSC? Students
cannot receive an award letter until the application for
admission is completed.
Q3: Have you applied for financial aid? Apply
for Federal Financial Aid by completing the
FAFSA
application, available online January 1 for the following school
year. Complete before
the priority deadline of March 1 each spring term. Enter the
Federal Code for LCSC as 001621.
Lewis-Clark State College administers and grants financial aid
to qualifying students through the
Financial Aid Office in Lewiston. The
most frequent award programs include Pell grants,
subsidized/unsubsidized loans and a limited number of Idaho
state grants.
The Financial Aid Office also awards ‘work study’ to qualifying
students and outlines the procedures for applying for
academic
scholarships (merit and need based scholarships).
Coeur d'Alene students should take the
opportunity to specifically apply for the College Transfer
Scholarship and the Non-Traditional Student Scholarship. Find
