LCSC offers a non-traditional (P)athway for (A)ccelerated (C)ertification and (E)ndorsement.  PACE is offered via the internet,coursework is all online, plus a two summer sessions.

 

PACE is appropriate for individuals currently working in schools or those who would like to earn an Elementary or Secondary Teaching Certificate. (Secondary Certification requires a Bachelors Degree in a content area.)

  • Elementary Teaching Certification (K-8)
       For individuals with an associate degree or its equivalent.
       Especially suited for para-educators, mid-life career changers,
             and retirees who want to teach.
       Two summers
       Online work
     
  • Secondary Teaching Certification (6-12)
       For individuals with a minimum BA/BS degree.
       Online work
