Check Out Policy
- Most resources may be checked out to current LCSC students and alumni at no cost. We ask
that you check materials out no earlier than 4:00 p.m. and return them by 9:00 a.m. the
following day.
- Certain materials are considered "Reference Only" and may not be removed from
the office.
- Non-students may check out materials only at the discretion of the Director of Career & Advising Services.
Other Points of Interest
- Fax Machine - You may send and receive career exploration- or job search-related
facsimilies through our office at minimal cost to you.
- Student Computers- The CAS Office provides two PCs with all the
latest capabilities. The computers are available for students on a reserve or walk-in
basis to use in some of the following ways:
- Access the internet to research employers or other areas
of your job search
- Contact an employer or organization through email
- Type a resume and/or cover letter
- Type your Candidate Information Form (see

- Use DISCOVER -
ACT releases an annual Windows version of the DISCOVER program. Career & Advising Services purchases this annual latest version on all our computers. It is an
excellent source of exploration and information. Stop in and check it out! If you are not
familiar with the program, click here:

- Copy Machine - You may copy pages from resources in our office for .10/copy.
- VCR - If you would like to view a video, but don't have access to a VCR (or don't
want to take a video home), please use our in house VCR!
